    Description

This is a special combination of products optimized for a specific purpose!
And you can save a little money compared to buying them separately.
    .00 2oz "Flex" CA
    - medium-thin 300cps CA is specially formulated to work well with plastics
    .50 2oz Sprayer with Parson #3770 Primer
    - the primer is designed to help CA bond properly to "low surface energy" plastics such as: Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Silicone Rubber, PTFE, and thermoplastic polyolefin.
Note: I am switching to a glass bottle for the primer, I will fix the picture soon.  This primer product works with all kinds of CA glue and is
specially formulated to help CA form a improved bond with plastic materials.
It can also be used with CA to bond Silicone rubber.
Without the primer, CA doesn't perform well with those kinds of plastics and rubbers.  The primer acts as a surface cleaner and catalyst to chemically promote adhesion.  If you have had problems with CA bonding to certain plastics and rubber, this product may be just
    what you need.
    Instructions
: Prepare difficult-to-glue surfaces before gluing.  The plastic surfaces must be completely clean of oil or mold-release residue (wipe well with alcohol, or use the primer as a cleaner). You only need a very small amount of primer dabbed and/or rubbed on the surface. One coat. Wait for it to dry completely, then glue the parts with CA as you would normally do.
    But please note:
    Tips for best results:
Any CA will work but I recommend using "Flex" CA (which I sell).  This is special CA formulation works really well with plastics. If the plastic is very smooth or has a shiny finish, use a fine-grit sandpaper to "haze" it and improve the performance of the primer. The surfaces being bonded must fit very well together, as tightly as possible. (little or no gap).
    First
    -
Apply the primer solution onto the two surfaces you will be gluing, then allow to completely dry - at least 3 minutes. Use only ONE coat.
    Second
    -
Apply the glue within 6 hours. Use the smallest amount of CA glue possible, then clamp or press the parts together
    very
    tightly
and hold for 20-30 seconds. The glue will be at "fixture strength" and the parts will be OK to handle - but please note that the bond will not reach full strength until 24 hours have passed.  Allow the glue to fully cure for best results.
This special primer isn't necessary on materials that CA bonds easily with. But use it whenever you are bonding plastics for the best results.  CA adhesive cures into a hard plastic which can be relatively brittle - this is generally
    not
suitable to materials that bend and flex - although the primer will help the CA bond strongly.
For items that are rough or do not have a close-fitting glue joint, use thicker CA or gel (which I sel
    l).
    Do
    not
apply primer to parts of the plastic that you are not gluing. The primer will react with the plastic and can damage the finish.  Due to the nature of this product, it will even attack the sprayer and may eventually prevent the sprayer from working properly - but you can still use a Q-tip or swab.
This product will cause CA glue to cure relatively quickly.  Please note, unfortunately I cannot guarantee that this product will work for a particular purpose, since there are so
    many
kinds of plastics. This product is not recommended for use along with regular acetone-based CA accelerators. (Acetone will damage plastic.)  The primer will work with ALL kinds of CA.
Please note, this primer product and most kinds of CA are NOT foam-safe. Check first to be sure!
If you're working with foam, your CA glue must be foam safe too!   But, t
    his primer works with
    all
kinds of CA glue. There are videos on YouTube showing how Parson #3770 can work with bonding Silicone in particular. Search for "Bonding Silicone Rubber" to see this product in action.
