Circa 1920's Scovill Mfg. Co. Oakville Pin Sewing Safety Pin Stand!
This is an interesting piece of early 1900's sewing and Scovill Mfg history! It is a miniature stand design to hold safety pins! Most likely these were sold with a compelement compliment of safety pins displayed on all four sides! The stand is approximately 1 1/4" square at the base x 1 3/8" tall. The base is embossed with "Scovill Mfg. Co. Waterbury Conn" on one side of the edge of the base and "Oakville" on the opposite side.
Scovill purchased the Oakville Pin Company in 1923 and I date this piece slightly after that time frame!
It is in good to very good condition
