however due to all of the changes and innovations on the market today in terms of pen refills they now make a "Parker" style refill that will fit and work with this pen and is available as a ballpoint, rollerball, ceramic tip rollerball as well as a gel pen, almost all of which are available at any office supply store
the components are cast, polished then plated with extremely durable Brushed Chrome and Chrome plated which are some of the toughest finish available today
You are bidding on a hand turned SIERRA Ballpoint Pen kit that was made from a very rare, beautiful, natural product as well as difficult to turn yet worth every bit of the effort. This pen is made by precisely placing the RINGNECK PHEASANT feathers around the center of the pen blank, then using a clear acrylic resin to cover the feathers, which creates the astoundingly beautiful design you see. The feather blanks are then turned, sanded, buffed, polished, and assembled to create the finished product shown in the photos above.  Once you hold one of these in your hand, you will agree that they are worth every penny! This particular pen is a Ballpoint Pen and has the advantage of being a perfect size pen regardless of your hand size, is very comfortable to hold and is a perfect weight

The SIERRA pen is also remarkably similar in size and weight when compared to the Nouveau Sceptre pen as well, yet still giving you a brand new and innovative look. This pen is also a wonderful mid-sized pen and due to its unique design it is very light and comfortable to hold. The bottom, or writing end, of the pen is about ½" in diameter at the thickest, yet only about ¼" in diameter where your fingers grip the pen to write.
The overall length of all of the pen is roughly 5 ¼".
