Kokopelli Petroglyph Rock Art Wall Hanging “One Moment In Time” Utah

Description

This is a very unusual stone wall hanging depicting the legendary supernatural creature, the Kokopalli. To some of the Southwestern Native Americans (Hopi and Zuni in particular), the Kokopalli symbolizes fertility, music, and joy. It measures approximately 18” X 6 3/4”. It appears to be carved in real stone, maybe sandblasted. I can’t find much information on this piece except for the label applied to the back (see photo 3). It implies that it’s an original hand made piece, but says nothing of the material used or the technique used in its fabrication. Please see all my photos as they are part of the description.
