    Vintage Watson Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon
    Art Institute, Chicago, Illinois
    Spoon measures 5" long and weighs 16.4 grams. The bowl has a detailed image of the Art Institute of Chicago building. The front of the handle features the following: early Chicago City Seal with Motto "Urbs in Horto" (translates to City in a Garden), Fort Dearborn, Lincoln Monument, and the Saint Gaudens Statue in Lincoln Park, and the Douglas Tomb & Memorial. On the back of the handle the designs include: Public Library, City Hall, Grant Monument, Masonic Temple and Gelert's Statue of Chicago policeman in Haymarket Square. The back of the bowl is beautifully engraved with the initials MKT.
